Activists say that only about 37 percent of Colorado kids getting free or reduced-price lunches, or 75,000, also get free breakfasts or summer lunches. That's because many schools don't offer them, or the kids don't want the stigma of receiving the meal assistance.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service says Wednesday that the products were produced from May 23 through June 13 and bear the establishment number "EST. 6250" within the USDA Mark of Inspection, printed on the front of the packages.

If the USDA forecasts are correct, Colorado would vault up to having the third-highest winter wheat production in the country behind No. 1 Kansas and Washington state, which is ranked second in the forecast. Colorado was 10th last year.
