Yesterday at 11:33 AM  Pikes Peak is the easternmost 14'er in the Rocky Mountain chain with winds recorded at speeds over 100 miles an hour. The road to the top of the peak was completely paved in 2011, making it one of the only 14'ers you can drive all the way up to the top.
