Ames Construction will close one lane in each direction on Milton E. Proby Parkway near the intersection of Academy Boulevard and Drennan Road from 8 p.m. Sunday until 6 a.m. Monday for construction on the parkway project.

The project will create a new two-mile stretch of a four-lane highway between Academy Boulevard and Powers Boulevard. It will also create a much needed east-west connection to and from the Colorado Springs Airport.
