Tuesday, June 08, 2010  Thirty-four-year-old Stephanie Rochester was charged Monday with murder in the June 1 suffocation death of her 6-month-old son, Rylan. According to an affidavit seeking her arrest, Rochester was motivated by signs the boy had autism.

Wednesday, May 05, 2010  Twenty-seven-year-old Benjamin Koller of Lafayette entered his plea Wednesday. He faces 16 to 48 years in prison when he is sentenced on June 29.

Friday, October 09, 2009  New Mexico Department of Public Safety identified the victims as 26-year-old Victor H. Ruiz-Esparza and 10-month-old Andres Ruiz-Esparza of Henderson, Colo.

Thursday, July 30, 2009  Alex Midyette is serving a 16-year sentence in the 2006 death of 11-week-old Jason Midyette. After his conviction, he was arrested on a charge of violating the terms of his bond, which required him to stay away from most children.

Tuesday, February 17, 2009  A jury on Tuesday acquitted Midyette on the more serious charge of knowing and reckless child abuse. He could have been sentenced to up to 48 years if convicted on that charge.
