Gov. John Hickenlooper says he cannot support the current version of a bill that would make it easier to unionize firefighters in Colorado.

Mayor John Hickenlooper said then that if officers didn't agree to the delay, he would have to lay off 92 officers to help close a $160 million deficit in the city's general fund. The city projects spending $955 million next year from the fund.
