Gov. Bill Ritter spent Wednesday morning at Fort Carson. There he spoke about the Helmets to Hardhats program. He also signed a proclamation recognizing the organization's work. Helmets to Hardhats is a free, nonprofit program that connects retired and transitioning military members with construction business employers.
