Forecasters say members of the public reported a tornado about 35 miles west of Colorado Springs Tuesday afternoon, moving east. A funnel cloud was also reported about 50 miles south of Pueblo.

A confirmed tornado touched down in the south Denver area, causing damage at Southlands Mall in Aurora. Ambulances were dispatched as reports of injuries were called in. Some of the injuries were believed to be caused by golf ball-sized hail which fell in the area.
