Tuesday, June 19, 2012  Colorado Springs Mayor Steve Bach has elected not to renew the Front Range Express (FREX) contract for the remainder of 2012 despite City Council's vote to keep the service running.

Wednesday, February 10, 2010  The $1.44 million proceeds of the sale this month of nine surplus city buses are enough to support the service through the remainder of this year. FREX service will maintain its current schedule without interruption until further notice, and transit officials will continue to seek sustainable funding options for FREX in 2011 and beyond.
