Victor Braun was sentenced last week after leading police to the body of Danice Day, who was found in a barrel at the bottom of an Arizona lake. Braun was Day's boyfriend when she was last seen leaving work in January of 2002.

Officials in Rio Grande County said Tuesday that DNA tests confirmed the body was Danice Day. She was 19 when she disappeared from Monte Vista in 2002.
