After months of waiting and worrying, families at Fort Carson welcome home their soldiers. Nearly 200 soldiers with Fort Carson's 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division are back home after a year long deployment to Iraq.

Soldiers with the 242nd Explosive Ordinance Disposal Battalion will host a color-casing ceremony at 1:30 Monday afternoon signifying the unit's readiness for deployment to Afghanistan. Fort Carson will also holding a ceremony to welcome home eighty soldiers of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division.
