PUEBLO, Colo. -- A man's body was recovered from the Arkansas River just north of Dutch Clark Stadium in Pueblo Friday morning.
Police said a fisherman spotted a body in the river around 10:40 a.m. Firefighters recovered it soon afterward.
Firefighters said the body had been in the water for a while.
Authorities have identified the body as 36-year-old Charles Chavez of Pueblo. Officials say the preliminary cause of death is drowning.This is a developing story. Stay with FOX21 News for the latest.
