Hope everyone had a nice holiday season
Happy 2009! I can not believe how fast 2008 was. I have heard the older you get the faster time flies, and I am beginning to believe that. Every year seems to go by in the blink of an eye.
Anyways, I had a great Christmas. Marshal, my husband and I spent time in Denver with my family. On Christmas morning Marshal woke up to find a huge, meaty bone in his stocking. It was nice because it kept him occupied while we all opened gifts. Despite his efforts to finish the whole bone by mid-morning.... he just did not have enough room in his little tummy. An hour later though he did find room to eat some steak and eggs from my breakfast plate. Christmas night was spent at my in-laws house in Fountain, we had prime rib and crab legs for dinner. Once again Marshal spent hours scavenging the kitchen floor for bits and pieces of prime rib and fat that accidently (sometimes) fell to the ground.
The rest of our time off was spent relaxing and catching up on sleep. Marshal enjoyed having Kyle and I home all the time and was of course sad when he saw us both getting ready for work this morning. He once again started shaking and looked up at me with his sad eyes. Oh well... life goes on Marshal!
