PUEBLO, COLO. -- A 21-year-old man charged in a deadly shooting at a Pueblo Park has been sentenced to 42 years in prison.
Devin Downey struck a deal with prosecutors and pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of 45-year-old Pedro Solis-Astorga.
Investigators said Downey was smoking marijuana in the park when Solis-Astorga approached him.
They also suggested Downey shot and killed the man because he wanted to avoid the disclosure of his sexual activities in the park.
