PUEBLO, COLO. -- The search for a 9-year-old Pueblo girl is underway.

Pueblo Police officers said Calysta Cordova never came home from school Thursday afternoon. She attends Columbian Elementary.

Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Palmer Avenue where they contacted the girl's mother. She described her daughter as being 4'10" with long brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket and a Columbia school uniform. She was also carrying a black and pink backpack.
