COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- To many, it seems the orange and black of Halloween gave way to the red and green of Christmas much more quickly this year.
In a lot of store aisles, the holiday hues collided as soon as the last trick-or-treater went to bed.

Angel Diaz, a manager of the Super Target off Powers says they began decorating the day after Halloween, and this year, even Black Friday is starting sooner.
"We've announced our store hours, we are open 9 p.m. Thursday. It's a little earlier this year," he said.

Many shoppers in his store say with just four days until Thanksgiving, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and they just don't like it.
"It's too soon. I like to spend Thanksgiving and the weekend of Thanksgiving with my family and not with the hustle and bustle of everything else going on," shopper Tracie Sousa said.

A new survey released shows more than 75 percent of shoppers believe Christmas is creeping up the calendar too early in our stores.

Some Christmas fanatics don't mind the extra time spent in the mood of their favorite holiday, and the shopping experience just boosts that.
"I love it. I just love it to death," shopper Shauna Rhoads explains of Christmas, "I put my tree up before thanksgiving ususally, it's just the whole holiday season to me as one."
Her children love Christmas too, but for their own reasons. "Presents!" her son said, followed by an exclamation of "Christmas presents!" from her daughter.

Whether you're a fan of Black Friday, what now is apparently "Black Thursday", Cyber Monday or Small Business Saturday... the stores are ready sooner than ever for the big gift buying rush this coming weekend.
