Man robs north Colorado Springs convenience store

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police are searching for the man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint late Sunday evening.

According to police, a man walked into the Circle K Store at 120 South Rockrimmon Boulevard, near Interstate 25, and robbed a clerk at gunpoint. The robbery happened at about 10:15 p.m., police said.

The suspect was described as a white man, about five-foot-eight in his mid 20s with a thin build. He was wearing a black ski mask, a black hoodie and black pants.

Police said the man was last seen as he fled the area northbound on foot. A K-9 unit was unable to track the suspect, police said.
