COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Two teenagers have now been identified as the suspects in connection with Facebook threats on Falcon School District students.

According to the El Paso County Sheriffs Office, Alexander Natale and Kyle Pate, both 18 years old, were identified as the suspects in this case.

It started out on Tuesday when the Sheriff's Office received reports of cyber bullying on a Facebook page called "Falcon Problems." The page, police said, had comments that were believed to be threatening in nature and surrounded students from Falcon School District 49.

Authorities immediately launched an invetsigation and Natale and Pate were identified as the suspects. Natale and Pate each attend different D-49 schools, police said.

Natale, according to police, was served a summons charging him with Harassment. A summons is pending for Pate.

"The Sheriff's Office takes cyber-bullying cases seriously because they can result in repeated events of victimization and escalate to physical altercations and violence," The Sheriff's Office said in a statement. "Furthermore, cyber-bullying often extends beyond the intended, individual victim(s) and interferes with school operations and their mission to educate our youth in a safe and secure environment."
