DENVER -- Active duty service members can now be pre-screened, according to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

The pre-screening program lets eligible passengers speed up their screening experience. Those passengers can go through a special lane that is expedited. They would also be able to leave their shoes on, light outerwear and a belt. They would also be able to leave their laptops in cases and their liquids and gel bags inside their carry-ons.

Denver International Airport is the seventh airport in the United States to offer this service to active duty service members.

"We are pleased that Denver is the seventh U.S. airport to offer this benefit to active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces, including guardsmen and reservists on active service," said TSA Federal Security Director James Schear. "These brave men and women serve their country every day, so it makes sense to grant them eligibility for espedited checkpoint screening.

TSA started its partnership with the Department of Defense back in March 2012 to helo streamline screening for active duty service members.

Other airports participating are Charlotte Douglas International, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, Honolulu International, Ronald Reagan Washington International, Seattle-Tacons International and Washington Dulles International.

TSA said it will alwasy do random searches and no one is guarantted expedited screening.
