COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A man wearing a black ski mask robbed a Colorado Springs Subway early Monday morning, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, about six-feet tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark zipped hoodie and dark pants.

Police said the man entered the Subway, located near Research and Union, early Monday and demanded cash from the register. He also told the employee to open the safe. The employee, according to police, told the man the safe had already been taken in another robbery.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and flef west out the back door, police said.

Any information on the crime can be reported to police at 444-7000.
