Police officer recovering after being hit by car during parade

PUEBLO, COLO. -- A Pueblo Police officer is recovering from a possible fracture after being hit by a car during a parade in the city Sunday.

According to officers, one of their own was working at the Parade of Lights Saturday and was giving directions to a driver when another car hit him.

The officer was rushed to a hospital but did not break any bones. He may have a fracture.

Charges against the driver who hit him are pending.
