COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- One person is behind bars, accused on sexual assault and impersonating a Colorado Springs Police Officer.

The CSPD said their Adult Sex Assault Unit was called to Memorial Hospital on November 5, for a patient who told a nurse she was sexually assaulted by an undercover CSPD officer.

Springs Police said an investigation led them to 24-year-old Stephen Frazier, who they said told the victim he was an undercover narcotics officer with the police department.

Frazier in fact, is not a police officer with Springs Police or any other law enforcement agency.

He does work as a security guard.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call police at 444-7000.
