PUEBLO, COLO. -- Animal law enforcement officers from Pueblo Animal Services are looking for a man who tossed three German shepherds out of his truck in Pueblo Tuesday.

According to officers, a witness saw a man in a blue Dodge truck toss the three dogs out on North Pueblo Boulevard before driving away. The witness didn't have a chance to get license plate numbers.

Officers said all three dogs were severely underweight, and one had a collar embedded in its neck, which had to be removed by a veterinarian.

Animal Law Enforcement is asking for help in identifying any potential leads as to the owner of these dogs. If anyone in the area saw or heard anything related to this case, please call Pueblo Animal Services Dispatch at (719) 544-3005.
