COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- According to court documents police began investigating a retired Air Force Chaplain for sexual assault back in July after they received a tip from Henderson, North Carolina. Since then four victims have come forward accusing 78-year-old David Grosse of sexual assault and police said there may be more.

Grosse was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust.

A 14-year-old girl told authorities in NC that she was sexually assaulted by Grosse several times. She said the alleged incidents occurred when she would go visit Grosse in Colorado and said they happened at three different locations over several years. The homes were in Nathrop, Monument, and Colorado Springs.

The victim said Grosse would sexually assault her "anytime the opportunity presented itself for him," and began when she was around 4 years old. She said the abuse lasted until she was around 12.

She said Grosse would touch her inappropriately and make her touch him. She said Grosse told her that it was a "special time" they shared and told her not to tell anybody about it.

The victim told police when she would resist Grosse would give her the "puppy dog look" and make her feel bad.

During one incident the victim said Grosse told her she needed to get over being so reserved about sexual issues. He said it was important for her to understand sexual things to have a good sex life and that he could show her how. She told police he also told her he could stimulate her breasts to make them bigger so she would be more tempting to other people. She said she was around 12 years old at the time.

According to the documents Grosse also had the victim dry him off after showering and help him use the bathroom.

Three other victims have also accused Grosse of sexual assault, including the first victim's sister.

She told police the incident happened at Grosse's house on Edenhurst Court in Monument back in 2003.

One of the other victims told police that Grosse began assaulting her in 1994 when she was 8-years-old.

Police said there may be more victims.

Anyone with information is asked to call (719)-444-7000.

Grosse is currently out on bond and will appear in court Wednesday.
