COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Colorado's most destructive wildfire was caused by a human.
Investigators have determined June's Waldo Canyon Fire in Colorado Springs was caused by a human.
Whether it was an accident or intentional and other circumstances won't be released until Sept. 12 at a briefing in Colorado Springs.
On June 23 the wildfire exploded and went on to destroy nearly 350 homes and kill two people.
That day, on dispatch recordings, at least two firefighters said the fire apparently started in the area they had searched.
