COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO., -- Colorado Springs City Council gives the final green light to the installation of cameras at intersections throughout the city.
Council voted in favor of the program Tuesday by a vote of five to four.
Four red light cameras are now set to be installed around town.
The cameras will snap photos of red light runners and take a picture of the driver's face and the car's license plate.
The owner of the vehicle will then be mailed a $75 ticket.
