The Colorado Springs Police Department said a toddler was found wandering alone early Saturday morning. Police received a call around 2:30 a.m. for a toddler who was walking along Murray Boulevard, near the Tanager Meadows Apartments.

The state suspended Over the Rainbow's child care license Jan. 29 after 38-year-old Kristen Carol Barnett was charged with sexual assault and after authorities said they found out that other teachers there had criminal records. The Colorado Department of Human Services ordered the school to lay off one of its teachers as one of the conditions for reopening.
