FOX21 Morning News Trivia Contest sponsored by Texas T-Bone (“Contest”)
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THIS CONTEST
PROMOTION DESCRIPTION: This promotion is sponsored by KXRM-TV-DT/KXTU-LP-Barrington Colorado Springs LLC a division of Barrington Broadcasting Corporation (560 Wooten Rd. Colorado Springs, CO 80915) and Texas T-Bone (2070 S. Academy Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80916 / 5245 N. Academy Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80918) (“Sponsor(s)”). The promotion begins June 1, 2012 at 6:40 a.m. and ends June 30, 2012 at 7:30 a.m. Entries must be received by 7:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday. Promotion is void where prohibited. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these promotion rules.
PRIZE(S): A $25 gift card for use at dinner Sunday through Thursday at either Colorado Springs location. Sponsor(s) reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. One prize will be awarded daily, Monday through Thursday.
ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning will be determined by the number of entries received.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CONTEST: Beginning June 1, 2012 until June 30, 2012, Monday through Thursdays mornings, watch FOX21 Morning News starting at 6:30 a.m. for the FOX21 Morning News Trivia Question sponsored by Texas T-Bone, when you see the trivia question log on to www.ColoradoConnection.com, go to the contest page, click on the FOX21 Morning News Trivia contest and fill out the contest form with your guess at the answer. Participants will have until 7:30 a.m. to register their daily trivia answer. Daily winner will be announced around 7:40 a.m.
REGISTRATION GUIDELINES
Signing up for the contest. If you signed up for the contest on the www.coloradoconnection.com web site you are automatically entered into the contest. You must agree ("opt-in") to receive Email regarding Texas T-Bone. You must also agree to receive one additional email announcing the winner. If available on the contest page, you can also “opt-in” to additional communications from the contest sponsor.
Signing up as a registered Barrington Broadcasting LLC user. If you signed up as a registered user of www.coloradoconnection.com you are not automatically entered into the contest- you must register.
Barrington Broadcasting LLC is not responsible for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects in part or whole, delays in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for any technical or non-technical network, telephonic, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate or partial transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Barrington Broadcasting LLC on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, at any web site or any combination thereof. Barrington Broadcasting LLC is not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the contest, or for mail-in entries that are lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, altered, illegible or postage-due. All entries become Barrington Broadcasting LLC property and will not be returned. Barrington Broadcasting LLC reserves the right to cancel temporarily or permanently the electronic method of contest entries if it becomes technically corrupted.

(c) Referrals. You are automatically entered into the contest each time you provide to Barrington Broadcasting LLC a referral to one e-mail address, and Barrington Broadcasting LLC verifies such e-mail address to be valid and different from your own, and the owner of that email address signs up for the contest. For each e-mail address referred and signed up, you will be entered into the contest again.
(d) Referrals' Referral. You are automatically entered into the contest each time the Referrals you have provided refer an additional Email address, and the owner of that email address signs up for the contest, and Barrington Broadcasting LLC verifies such e-mail address to be valid and different from your own. For each e-mail address referred and signed up by your Referrals' Referral, you will be entered into the contest again. There is no limit to how many levels down your Referrals can extend, as long as they are all valid Referrals and are signed up for the contest.
DISQUALIFICATION: All of your entries in this and all other contests sponsored by Barrington Broadcasting LLC in the past, present, or future, will be automatically disqualified without notice or recourse if you promote the Contest through unsolicited commercial Email, multiple repetitive postings to UseNet Newsgroups or even one posting to inappropriate UseNet Newsgroups or any other violation of Terms of Use Policy. Any violation of such Terms of Use Policy will prevent you from entering any future contest sponsored by Barrington Broadcasting LLC and we will automatically revoke your membership in Barrington Broadcasting LLC’s web site.
All of your entries will be disqualified, at the sole discretion of Barrington Broadcasting LLC, if you attempt (i) to enter the contest through any means other than as described in these Official Rules; or (ii) to disrupt the contest, circumvent the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, or in any way tamper with the contest. If either of the above occurs, Barrington Broadcasting LLC has the right to remedy any such action, disruption, or circumvention, and to seek damages from you to the fullest extent permitted by law.
ELIGIBILITY: All legal U.S. residents residing in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years or older at the closing date of the contest may participate in this contest, or if you are under 18 years of age, you must have parental/guardian consent to enter the contest. By entering this contest you represent to Barrington Broadcasting LLC that you are either at least 18 years of age or have consent from a parent/guardian. Employees of Barrington Broadcasting LLC, its immediate families and members of their households, prize sponsors/employees are not eligible to participate in this contest. By registering to win the prize, the winner grants Barrington Broadcasting LLC permission to use his/her name (including screen name) and likeness, portrait/video, recorded voice and/or biological material for advertising and future promotion purposes without additional compensation (except where prohibited by law). Unaccepted prizes may not be awarded. This contest is subject to these complete and Official Rules.
SELECTION OF WINNERS: Winners will be selected in a randomized manner daily Monday through Thursday, starting June 1, 2012 until June 30, 2012 for the contest. All correct answers will be put into the drawing, one winner will be selected. The winner will be notified at the day of the drawing, and has 48 hours to contact KXRM-TV-DT/KXTU-LP-Barrington Colorado Springs LLC a division of Barrington Broadcasting Corporation regarding their prize. Barrington Broadcasting LLC reserves the right to modify scheduling of the contest without prior notice. If the judges determine in their sole discretion that there is any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the giveaway or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the giveaway, the judges reserve the right to void the entries at issue, and/or terminate the giveaway and conduct a random drawing to award prizes using all eligible entries received as of the termination date. Limit one prize per person. Winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility within 3 days of notification attempt. Failure to return the affidavit in the time noted will result in disqualification of the entry and the random selection of an alternate winner. Barrington Broadcasting LLC may require winners to provide proof that they are the authorized account holders of the e-mail addresses used to enter the contest. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet service provider, online service provider, or organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the e-mail address. Any winner who does not comply with the Official Rules will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. Return of any prize or prize notification as "undeliverable" will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.
NOTIFICATION: Prizewinners will be notified by e-mail sent to the e-mail address, unless otherwise specified, on the Barrington Broadcasting LLC account (or the e-mail address on the mail-in entry when applicable), and Barrington Broadcasting LLC is under no obligation to notify winners by any means other than e-mail. If a winner's Barrington Broadcasting LLC profile is no longer active, notification will be sent to the last known e-mail address. If a prizewinner entered by mail, the notification will be sent to the address that was printed on the 3"x 5" piece of paper. Barrington Broadcasting LLC is not responsible for notifications that are misdirected or not received because of e-mail addresses or mailing addresses that are no longer correct. If a potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been made during 1 business day from the first notification attempt, such person may be disqualified, with an alternate winner selected. Any prize notification or prize returned as undeliverable will result in the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner.
REDEMPTION: Barrington Broadcasting LLC will deliver the prizes as follows: All Prizes will be available for pick up at 560 Wooten Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80915 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. MST weekdays, unless otherwise specified. Each prize will be shipped to the appropriate winner's home address. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions or cash equivalents are allowed except by Barrington Broadcasting LLC, who also reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is unavailable.
CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE OF PRIZE: Driver’s license or other appropriate picture identification is required to claim a prize. The winner(s), travel companion(s), and/or any other persons necessary will be required to execute and return a release and affidavit of eligibility within 15 days of prize notification, or the prize will be forfeited. A winner must take possession of his or her prize within two weeks or the prize will be forfeited. Winner(s) will be solely responsible for any and all local, state, and federal taxes, as well as license and registration fees incurred by participating in the promotion, including, but not limited to, transportation costs, gratuities and other items of an incidental nature. KXRM-TV-DT/KXTU-LP-Barrington Colorado Springs LLC a division of Barrington Broadcasting Corporation will report any individual winnings over $600 (in cash or fair market value of goods or services) in a one year period to the Internal Revenue Service. Winner(s) will receive a Form 1099 from KXRM-TV-DT/KXTU-LP-Barrington Colorado Springs LLC a division of Barrington Broadcasting Corporation if KXRM-TV-DT/KXTU-LP-Barrington Colorado Springs LLC a division of Barrington Broadcasting Corporation reports any winnings to the Internal Revenue Service. Prize(s) may not be exchanged for cash or any other consideration. Each winner agrees to the use of his or her name and likeness in publicity without any additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. By entering this promotion, each winner acknowledges that KXRM-TV-DT/KXTU-LP-Barrington Colorado Springs LLC a division of Barrington Broadcasting Corporation, and all other sponsors and venues, have the right to publicize and broadcast each winner’s name, voice, likeness, portrait/video, recorded voice and/or biological material, and the fact that he or she won, and all matters incidental thereto.
CONDITIONS: By participating in the contest, you agree to release and hold Barrington Broadcasting LLC and its directors, officers, employees and agents, and all prize suppliers/sponsors harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the contest or any product purchased, or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy, whether suffered by you or a third party. This contest is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Barrington Broadcasting LLC and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the contest or these Official Rules. All decisions regarding the contest, including, but not limited to, selecting winners, will be made by Barrington Broadcasting LLC , whose decisions shall be final. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes.

LIST OF PRIZE WINNERS: For a list of prize winners, mail by July. 6, 2012 a self-addressed stamped envelope, accompanied by a hand-printed request indicating "Winner's List", to contest, FOX21-KXRM/CW57-KXTU, 560 Wooten Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80915. All requests must be received between Jan. 13, 2012 and Feb. 6, 2011, WA and VT residents may omit return postage.
