COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A grass fire that broke out near Red Rock Canyon has been fully contained, according to the Colorado Springs Fire Department.
According to fire officials, the fire started near Highway 24 and burned up to five acres of land in the area.
Fire officials say it was a slow-moving fire in steep terrain. The fire was fully contained shortly after 5 p.m.
No homes were threatened and there's no word yet on the cause.
