COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The search is on for the person or persons who stole a Salvation Army Red Kettle from outside a Walmart in Colorado Springs Friday afternoon.
It happened at the Walmart on E. Woodmen Road, near Powers Boulevard.
It is the second Red Kettle stolen in Colorado Springs this year.
The first theft occured on November 30 at the Walmart on Razorback Road.
Officials with the Salvation Army said in addition to the thefts, the Red Kettle Campaign is down $35,000 compared to this time last year.
