COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- El Paso County officials will hold their State of the Region Wednesday.

The event will take place at the Antler's Hilton at 12:30 p.m..

El Paso County Commissioner and Chair of the Board Amy Lathen will highlight the accomplishments and challenges of this year.

Lathen will also discuss ways to "reach our potential as the best place in the country for business, families and tourists.
