COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The Colorado Springs Police Department has released the name of the man stabbed to death Friday morning at a Colorado Springs apartment complex.

Investigators said the victim is 46-year-old Gregory Martin of Colorado Springs.

They said Martin was a maintenance worker at the Park Ridge Apartments on Serendipity Circle.

It is believed Martin interrupted a burglary in progress around 9:15 Friday morning when he was confronted by the suspect.

The CSPD has arrested Isaiah Ramon Jackson, a resident at the apartment complex.

He has been charged with first degree murder and first degree burglary.

The investigation is ongoing.
