Lorig’s is one of the oldest locally owned family businesses in Colorado Springs and we specialize in traditional western wear.  Officially the store was opened in 1932 with our roots going back further than that. Originally Lorig’s was a wholesale dry goods store selling to mining camps and Indian trading posts. The store sold men’s work clothes, hats and uniforms.  During World War II Lorig’s was one of the largest suppliers of nurse uniforms throughout the country selling by mail. Following the war, the store added western wear and catered to local ranchers, tourists and visitors to local dude ranches as Colorado Springs tourism grew. Lorig’s was a prominent, well known fixture in downtown Colorado Springs for over 70 years. We moved to our “new” location at 15 North Union in June of 2004. Lorig’s has maintained our history and tradition of providing excellent customer service for over 80 years.
