Business Services Step back into the Old West – Dinner & Cowboy Singers in an Old Western Town setting!

|
Business Type: The Flying W Ranch is an actual working mountain cattle ranch located in the foothills of Colorado Springs, Colorado. We have been specializing in authentic western food and western style entertainment since 1953. In our high season, we entertain and serve dinner to over a thousand people nightly.
When you attend the Chuckwagon Supper at the Flying W Ranch, you’ll catch a glimpse of the Old West, a meal typical of one that might have been served on a cattle drive of years past, cowboys singing and an atmosphere that will beckon you to escape for awhile and enjoy an evening long to be remembered.

Question What is your busiest time of the year? Answer The Flying W Ranch is open from March through December. During our Peak Season (Usually, June and July) we serve up to 1,250 people every single night. Answer
The Flying W Ranch officially opened in the summer of 1953 to eleven paying guests.
Founders Russ and Marian Wolfe started the operation in order to preserve the authenticity of the Old West and to promote Family-Friendly entertainment within the city of Colorado Springs.
Russ has received countless awards and recognition from the city on several occasions and was one of the first people to help create the Colorado Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau as well as the Pikes Peak Country Attractions Association. Question Who are the Flying W Wranglers? Answer The Flying W Wranglers are the second oldest Western Singing group in the nation. The band itself has consisted of over 40 members since their creation in the summer of 1953. In the fall of 2009, the Flying W Wranglers were inducted into the Western Music Associations Hall of Fame alongside Roy Rogers, The Sons of the Pioneers, Gene Autry and countless other Western Music Alumni. The Wranglers perform over 300 shows per year and sing Western Music, not Country Music.
