Questions & Answers
Question
What age should you take your child to a dentist for the first time?
Answer

Typically children should start seeing the dentist at 3 years of age.

Question
What is the difference between a DMD and DDS dentist?
Answer
There is no difference between a DMD degree and  a DDS degree. They only differ in the title of  the degree because some schools will carry the DMD title, while others use the DDS. In the end, they both become a general dentist after graduation and becoming state licensed.

Answer

Most patients will see their dentist every 6 months for cleanings, exams and x-rays. However, depending on the recommendations of your dentist you may need to be seen every 3 to 4 months.
