COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Great people and even greater things are being done!

This describes the efforts of the Warrior Transition Battalion along with Lake Ice USA. For those military personnel transitioning back into civilian life, physical and emotional struggles can often make the process challenging.

FOX21's Craig Coffey finds out how they are making a big difference in the progress these brave men and women face by helping soldiers transition back into society with a positive experience.

It's an outing where actual ice fishing comes second to all the fun conversation!

Soldiers get to sign up and are chosen to go along based on clearance and medical condition.
