Travis lives and breathes social media.
He joined the FOX21 News team in January 2013 as the Social Media Manager and Interactive Managing Editor. He works closely with the news and sales teams to manage all online and social properties of the station.
Before joining FOX21 News, Travis worked for two years at sister station KVII-TV in Amarillo, Texas, where he was in charge of social media and anchored the 9 p.m. newscast.
During the Waldo Canyon Fire of 2012, Travis helped FOX21 News with its coverage. He also covered both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions in 2012.
Travis knew he wanted to be a journalist since he was 3 years old and although he is one of the youngest members of the FOX21 News team, he has been a journalist for more than five years.
Born and raised in the Oklahoma Panhandle, Travis graduated from Guymon High School as a Valedictorian in 2008. He then continued his education at West Texas A&M University where he was actively involved in numerous organizations.
When away from the newsroom, you can usually find Travis at a nearby coffee shop with his iPad in hand. More than likely, he's busy tweeting away.
